During holidays, especially around Christmas, parts of the area are decorated with lights. The surroundings feel warm and festive. Evening walks during that time feel different — calmer, but somehow more magical. The mix of tourists and locals gives Majorda a balanced energy. It’s lively, but not noisy.

What I personally love most about Majorda is the feeling it gives me. It doesn’t try too hard to impress. It doesn’t need loud music or adventure rides to stand out. Its beauty is simple. You can sit quietly and just watch the waves for a long time without feeling bored.

Majorda is not about thrill or excitement for me. It is about comfort, family time, childhood treats, and peaceful sunsets. It is one of those places that feels familiar no matter how much time passes.

Service tends to be warm rather than formal, the kind where staff recognise returning guests across seasons.

 As evening approaches, the shack becomes a comfortable sunset point without feeling crowded. While some visitors also speak highly of Sam's Goan Beach Shack nearby, what stands out about this stretch overall is its calm — fewer crowds, cleaner sands, and a pace that reflects South Goa’s quieter character.

For independent travelers, renting a scooter is ideal. The palm-lined internal roads of South Goa are scenic, less congested, and perfect for slow exploration. Nearby beaches such as Betalbatim Beach and Utorda Beach are just short rides away.

The most comfortable months are November to February, when the weather is dry and pleasant. While the beach remains accessible year-round, monsoon months bring stronger tides and limited water activity.
